Request Funding
Revised July 2024

The Rotary Club of Truckee Donation Policy

The application must be received one (1) week prior to the Board meeting to be considered.  The Board meets the 1st Tuesday of every month.  The first 3 applications will be reviewed, as determined by the Club President, and other requests will be deferred to the next Board meeting.

Grant applicants are expected to make a 5-minute presentation regarding the request at the Club’s board meeting. The Board of Directors will review the request and either accept, deny, or modify it, notifying the applicant of the decision shortly thereafter.

To ensure that the Rotary Club can continue funding grant requests, all applicants that receive funds are expected to contribute to our annual fundraisers (Small Town Big Night Out in the Fall and Crab Feed in the Spring) in one or more of the following ways:
● Volunteering
● Silent Auction Donations
● Sponsorships
● Ticket Sales
When submitting your grant application, please comment which event you will support and how your organization will support the event.

Applicants must also be willing to advertise and promote the receipt of said funds on their websites, advertising, and other similar means. Be prepared to hang a Rotary banner supplied by Rotary at events held by the applicant and to adhere Rotary stickers, also supplied by Rotary, on equipment etc. procured with said funds.
